Isabella Akpabla is a Ghanaian documentary photographer and visual storyteller documenting everyday life across Ghana and West Africa.
Her work is driven by the belief that as societies evolve, we gradually lose parts of who we are. Through photography, she creates visual records of the people, places, traditions, and ordinary moments that shape contemporary African life, telling the African story and preserving them for future generations.
Her work has been featured by For Africans, By Africans (FABA), a platform dedicated to documenting African lifestyles and cultures through the eyes of African storytellers.
Alongside her photography, Isabella holds an MPhil in Communication Studies, a perspective that continues to shape the way she researches, approaches, and tells visual stories.
